I always recommend starting with a consultation before committing to a tattoo. This is your chance to meet me, discuss your ideas in detail, and ensure we're both equally excited about your project. It’s also an opportunity for you to feel comfortable with me and my studio—after all, getting a tattoo is an intimate process, and feeling safe and cared for is essential. If an in-person consultation doesn’t work for you, I also offer phone and video consultations.
When choosing an artist, it’s important to ensure your tattoo is a unique creation and not a copy of someone else’s design. All my designs are hand-drawn specifically for you, using any reference images you provide as inspiration to craft a tattoo that suits your body and tells your story.
During our consultation, we’ll break down your ideas into two main categories: subject matter (what the tattoo depicts, like a dragon or a flower) and style (how it’s drawn, such as watercolor, realistic, or geometric). While tattoos don’t have to carry a specific meaning, they always have intent—your personal reason for choosing that particular design. Whether it’s to commemorate a loved one, cover an old tattoo, or simply for the love of art, we’ll work together to ensure your tattoo reflects your vision.
There’s no pressure to book your tattoo immediately after the consultation. When you’re ready, you’ll secure your appointment with a non-refundable deposit or design fee, which ensures your spot and contributes to the time spent creating your custom design. Deposits generally range from £50 to £200, depending on the size and complexity of your tattoo. If you choose one of my pre-drawn designs, the deposit will go toward the tattoo’s cost, and no design fee will be required.
Before finalizing any commitments, I’ll provide you with a clear breakdown of the costs, so there are no surprises. Feel free to ask any questions about the process - I want you to feel informed and confident every step of the way. To book a consultation now click here
Once your appointment is booked, the creative process begins. We’ll collaborate on a design consultation to refine the subject matter, size, placement, and style of your tattoo. Based on our discussions, I’ll create an interactive mood board to inspire your design.
You’ll have options for how involved you’d like to be in the design process. Some clients prefer freehand designs, where I draw directly onto their skin on the day of the tattoo. Others opt for sketches and mock-ups to review beforehand. Whichever route you choose, I’ll outline the process and costs clearly to ensure the experience is tailored to your preferences.
On the day of your tattoo, I’ll greet you warmly and offer a drink to help you feel comfortable. After handling any necessary paperwork, we’ll prep the area by washing and shaving it to ensure a clean surface. I’ll then position or draw the design on your skin, using either stencil paper or freehand techniques, depending on the tattoo.
Once we’re both happy with the placement and design, we’ll begin the tattooing process. It’s important to be prepared to sit or lie still for a while, so feel free to bring headphones, a book, or something else to keep you entertained. Don’t hesitate to let me know if you need a break, a drink, or a quick stretch. For longer sessions, we’ll take a lunch break, giving you a chance to recharge before continuing.

When the tattoo is complete, I’ll carefully wrap it and provide aftercare instructions to help it heal properly. Your tattoo will be a unique piece of art, designed just for you, and a lasting expression of your story and vision.
Getting a tattoo is a collaborative journey, and my goal is to make the experience as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. If you have any questions or concerns at any stage, I’m here to help. Let’s work together to create something extraordinary!
